Mine were very messy!

As Valentine's day is only a few days away, todays post is all about how to achieve pretty pink marble patterned nails.

What you will need:

White nail polish,

Variety of pink nail polish,

Nail polish remover,

A bowl,

Water

Cotton buds and

a hair pin (or toothpick).

Step 1. Begin by prepping your nails for the design by painting 2 coats of the white nail polish and leave to dry.

Step 2: Fill a bowl with water; add a drop of nail polish to the water - it should start to spread out, place another drop in the middle of that circle.

Step 3: Using a bobby pin draw the polishes in a few different ways, to create the marble effect.

Step 4: Place one nail in the middle of the design and using the bobby pin again scrape away the excess polish.

Step 5: Clean up the edges of the polish using a cotton bud dipped in nail polish remover.

Step 6: Reapeat steps 2-5 on the rest of your nails, let it dry and voilà your done!

I love this effect on my nails, although it takes time to perfect (I still haven't mastered it as you can tell!), it is so unusual and different. You could definitely mix and match it using different coloured polishes and add more than just 2 colours. Let me know what you think of these types of posts! Please send me your recreations of the design if you decided to try it out.

Have a Happy Valentines Day saturday!
