Hello everyone! It has been a while since I last updated, so sorry about that I got my tonsils out and was very sick from it. I am recovering now and am well enough to return the the computer!
As you may have seen over the past 2 weekends Coachella has been on in the states, and wow was there some amazing fashion there (I might do another post on that!)
Seeing all these pictures have made me envious of all the festival goers! I am sure we all are. Here is a little tutorial on nails inspired by coachella.
I began by painting each nail a solid colour. I chose al rimmel polishes pink, blue and yellow as they are bright colours. This picture indicates which finger I put each colour on.

On the small finger I used a fine nail art brush and drew an arrow in silver and outlined it with black. I started off with drawing a small arrow then gradually building up thickness to make it easier.
With a black I attempted to draw a plam tree on the ring finger, you really need a steady hand with this! I started with a few lines for the trunk and branches then began added more strokes and dashes to show lease on the palm trees.

For the middle finger I free handedly drew some sort of an aztec print. I began by drawing straight lines across then filling in the design. I used a bobby pin dipped in nail polish for the dots.
The pointer finger is a floral design. To acheive this I used a bobby pin to do the petals of the flower. I used pink, black and silver for the flowers to match all the nails together.
And for the thumb I drew a leaf with black. I started by Drawing a curved line for the stem and then built up the feathers by drawing tiny flicks. I added a hint of sliver too for a bit of sparkle!

Show me pictures of your festival inspired nails!
