Blair Waldorf: Hair and Makeup

Blair Waldorf from the beloved Gossip Girl has an amazing sense of style, She is now head of Waldorf Designs so we wouldn't expect any thing less! Here is a few quick and easy steps on how to recreate Blairs Signature Hair and Makeup look.

Hair

Begin by parting your hair to one side.

Using a 1-inch curling iron start to wrap a small section of hair around it, switching the direction of the curl each time you use a different section. Continue this on all of your hair. Ensure that you curl the hair at the front away from your face.

Brush out the curls just a little to create Blair's siganture waves.

Spritz with hairspray and you finished.

Don't forget your hairband!

Makeup

Blair always has a very minimal natural makeup look- she is never over done

Face:Prep your face for makeup by moisturisng.

Apply your foundation-ensure the colour is an exact match to your skin tone.

Use a light conceler to brighten your under eye circles and a full coverage concealer to cover any blemishes or discolouration. Blair always has perfect fresh glowing skin.

For blush use a coral colour to add warmth to the face. The Surf from Sleek is very similar.

Eyes: Blair uses very minimal eyeshadow. Sweep a light colour over the lids and blend a light (bronze colour) brown into the crease. Coat eyelashes lightly with mascara. I recommend 'Naked' and 'Buck' from the Original Naked palette.

Eyebrows: Blair's brows are never too strong but are always well shaped and lightly filled in- use an eyebrow powder to achieve this. They should look soft and natural.

Lips: Peachy coral pink lip glosses are Blairs go to lip colour. I think this one from Tanya Burr Cosmetics would be a very similar shade.
