Product of the week: Maybelline Color Tattoo 24hr Eyeshadow

I'm sure all of us have heard of the drugstore brand Maybelline who are known for their mascaras, but today I want to tell you about their Color tattoos. These are cream based eyeshadows and come in a vast array of colors.

Firstly I have to mention the packaging, it is simple yet sleek which enhances the overall feel of the product. The product its self is very creamy-but drys slightly on the lid and stays put all day! I have to say I haven't tried it on long enough to know if it will last that long, but who wants eyeshadow to stay on for 24 hours? It definitely last a good 8 hours from what I've tried. I own 3 myself, the highly talked about 'On and On Bronze,' 'Pink Gold' and from the Leather look collection'Creamy Beige.' All three have amazing color pay off and are highly pigmented! They are a staple when I apply my makeup and can be worn as a base for the rest of your eyeshadows or on its own. I love how easy to apply they are, I tend to just put a bit on my little finger and sweep it on my lid, which I find works the best. Its that simple!

Some people might say the price is a bit steep at around €7.49 a pop, but personally I believe if you buy just one and test it out you will see it is definitely worth the price!
