Dry, Frizzy, Greasy hair all has different ways of affecting your hair. I know myself I struggle alot when trying to maintain my hairs best state. Here is seven tips on how to keep your hair as happy and healthy as possible.

1. Blast your hair with cold water after washing, this helps seal in the moisture in your hair nad closes pores to prevent extra dirt on the scalp. Also more moisture helps prevent frizz.
2. Leave Coconut oil in your hair over night. It is great for deep conditioning and is able to penetrate hair (and prevent protein loss) according to research. Apply dollop to your hair, comb it, and then tie it into a bun and cover your hair with a shower cap or place a towel over your pillow to sleep. In the morning, shampoo your hair to wash it out. Coconut oil can be found in health food shops or in the cooking section of your local supermarket.
3. Do not brush your hair when it is wet as damp hair is more prone to break and get damaged.
5. Try not to use hot hair tools like straighteners too often as they can dry out your hair and cause damage. When using them ensure you use heat protecting spray and a low temperature setting.
6. Trim hair every 6-8 weeks to keep it healthy looking and to avoid splits. This also helps hair to grow back stronger.
7. Washing hair every day is not good as shampoo strips its natural oils try leaving it 3 days before washing and use dry shampoo to get a fresh look. Washing your hair often can cause the oils to increase and make your hair become greasier more often.
